Seattle and Kent Sex Crime Defense Attorneys

The criminal defense attorneys in our office regularly appear in both the King County Superior Courts, located in Seattle and Kent.  

There are actually two King County superior courthouses. One is located in Kent. at the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) located at 401 Fourth Avenue North.  The other is located in Seattle at 516 Third Avenue.  

Felony sex cases that are alleged to have occurred in King County are always filed at one of these locations.  Generally, if the crime is alleged to have occurred South of Interstate 90, it will be filed in the Kent courthouse.  if the crime is alleged to have occurred North of Interstate 90 it will be filed in Seattle.  There are exceptions in certain types of cases.

All cases are handled by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's office, and their attorneys are assigned to one of their two offices located in the same two courthouse.   We regularly work with both locations, and are available to assist you in your defense.  We have several pages that list types of sex crime cases that we handle.  Visit Sex Crimes on our site for more information.
